THE HAMMER to and fro
motion… a metaphor
for life. Harsh experiences,
our reactions to conflict;
diversity of strife.
THE NAIL….thin metal,
fragility/ mistaken
aura seen, yet inner strength
of courage not perceived.
THE HAMMER…changes
and challenges bearing
down upon us in life.
THE NAIL….thin metal,
our vulnerability yet inner
strength not always seen.

OVERTURE.

Dazzling backdrop of white
eerie howls of mourning
’tis a besotted audience
indeed. Swift manoeuvres
of agile feet, death like
pirouettes….sacred dance
an encore it be. Howls of
appreciation as wolves
rapturously greet defeated
ballerina she be, lost in
a wilderness of grief;
savage audience prancing
now closer to meet
adventerous ballerina
who’d dared to greet
wolves entranced most
definitely. Welcoming lair
of warmth did greet, family
abode savage comfort it be.

Pretty plaything,
pretty sought after
prize. Exquisite trophy
the world to see, alas
’tis not of true nature indeed.
Scars and blemishes
masked cleverly lest
an outcast she be.
Seething rage cleverly
controlled, evil personified
to be so bold. ‘Twas many
a story of the PORCELAIN
DOLL, none can deny
a horrendous ending
twain you shall meet
the PORCELAIN DOLL
thy shall greet.

destruction, errors of
thoughtless actions a
cause of dire repercussions.
NEGATIVE results.
So too an ALGEBRA
of life…equations of
destruction, thoughtless
actions of hate speech,
bullying, racial tension
dire repercussions!
> or < = Successful in
life, or whate’er might
be NO being on this
chaotic world anointed
judge and jury.

acknowledgement
of achievement?
or weakend defense?
Haste might there be
