Serenity of heart and soul the bounty
she reveals, yet an inner fiesty heart 
and soul she guards jealously. Be not
tempted to wade into her realm with
falsity, for thy downfall it will be.
Truth of heart, soul and mind her 
treasures forged throughout time.
Mere tokens of affection of no
interest be, but wholesome
truth of heart, soul and mind 
is what she seeks.

I WAS, I WILL, I AM

I WAS
Birthed into love,
laughter and happiness.
I flourished, I bloomed
I was loved, I was beautiful.
Raped of my treasures
raped of life
raped of laughter
I withered and died inside.
I bled, I screamed, I beat
my fists, I mourned.
I WILL
Slay the demons that hound
and pester me. Surely there
is more to life than misery?
I WILL
Breathe..... and silence my
heart and soul, silence the demons
who seek control. Seek beauty in
desolate places, turn my face
towards the sun and bloom
as each day comes.
I WILL
No longer tolerate demons
that tempt me to believe
I am unworthy.
I WILL
No longer accept lesser
than what I in believe,
no longer be naive.
I AM
A woman, proud to be me.
Life lessons threatened to
disown me, demons along
the wayside challenged me;
I doubted, I screamed, I cried
and bled..... I mourned and
the demons were fed. I rebelled
finally for leeches of life they
used to be. They taught me of 
life, not is all as you see for
behind masks demons flourish gaily.
I AM
A woman of respect, morals
and strength; happiness my
elixir. Be not arrogant in thy
thinking a patsy I be, for kindness
and compassion gifts I share
with thee. Be not arrogant in thy
belief thy my respect and morals
I'd lessen for thee.
I AM
A woman at peace,
linger not if thy
presence a falsity be.

prevails….’tis NOT
befitting of thee
to lower thy standards
and compassion and
kindness the gifts
of humanity ’tis all
that is seeked.
May self import no
longer be the riches
so fervently seeked.

Giggles of mirth
and wonder, gaily
skipping to and fro.
BAREFOOT CHILD
innocence of youth
so brightly encompass.
Delighted squeals, a
splash in puddles
’tis of enchantment;
’tis of comfort and safety.
Secure, loved, comforted
thy be. A scraped toe,
a scraped knee
BAREFOOT CHILD
’tis of loving tenderness
thy tears and scrapes
medicated be; a hug
a kiss beloved BAREFOOT
CHILD indeed.
