Profess to love in my heart for another
and by mere words and not of actions,
wear the garments of boastful pride,
foolish I be. IF I....
were the object of dastardly deeds
would I gnash my teeth in anger
and would I by forgiveness,
speak the truth for Gods
grace and glory?
IF I.... would be more
attentive to live for
peace, would I strive
for compassion and kindness
the world sorely needs?
