Abandoned….
Childlike innocence
girlish giggles,
preening princess
of a bygone era.
Life’s musings and events
intrusive journey of
learning and adjustable
moments in time.
Child, teenager, adult
stages in life as
meant to be.
Encounters of love, laughter
tears and loss;
stepping stones of growth
not always perceived.
Sacred solitude of
breath taking respite,
inner un ravelling;
from darkness into light.
In peaceful repose come
forth and forever align again…
awaken child within.
Inner child, so wild,
so free; be thou
forever within me.
